The Cavaliers release their City Edition uniform. The team will go with a vibrant orange and blue colorway, a nod to the uniform the Cavaliers wore in 1994 for their first season in the new arena in downtown Cleveland. The iconic Cleveland script wordmark across the chest was a collaboration with Destination Cleveland. On the player’s jersey and shorts we see a wave pattern meant to represent Lake Erie. We see another nod to Lake Eire above the jock tag that reads “1 OUT OF 5 GREATS,” in reference that Lake Erie is one of the five Great Lakes. Finally on the vent flap of the shorts is an icon of the great lakes.
