Barcelona has introduced their new 2019-2020 home kit with a design inspired by the emblematic Eixample district of Barcelona. The team is trading in the traditional blaugrana stripes for a new checkerboard print. This will be the first time in club history we will see a design like this.
The new design takes its design-inspiration from the city of Barcelona by incorporating the characteristic blocks of the Eixample district, to create the checkerboard pattern. Another change to the jersey comes with the positioning of the Catalan flag, which is usually located on the back of neck, will now be moved to the front and in the shape of a V. To complete the look we will see the players wear blue shorts and blue socks with a red trim.
