NWSL Unveil Bold New Kits for the 2025 Season

As the 2025 NWSL season approaches, the league and Nike have teamed up to drop the most ambitious and creative jersey collection in league history. Following the first-ever comprehensive jersey reset for a women’s soccer league, this year’s kits blend cutting-edge performance innovation with club-inspired storytelling, setting a new standard for how teams express their identity on and off the pitch.

All 14 active NWSL clubs will feature at least one brand-new jersey, with designs that balance functionality, individuality, and a deep connection to each club’s community. From bold color palettes to intricate storytelling details, these kits are built to represent not just teams, but the cities and cultures they call home.

Angel City FC - "Los Angeles" Secondary Kit

Angel City pays tribute to its vibrant hometown with a detailed toile pattern showcasing beloved LA landmarks and symbols. Sol Rosa and Asphalt color blocking on the sleeves and neckline give the kit a vintage vibe, while a custom “Los Angeles” outer pride mark completes the look.

Bay FC - Embracing the Bay Area

Bay FC’s debut kits celebrate the region’s nine counties with nine flowing lines that represent unity in diversity. The secondary kit updates the inaugural white design with bold Poppy trim and Silver accents, while the primary kit goes all in on Bay Blue with touches of Poppy.

Chicago Stars FC - Liquid Metal Intensity

Chicago’s secondary kit introduces a sleek, dark aesthetic with liquid metal-inspired patterns, channeling an intimidating alter ego for road matches. The new club crest makes its debut as well.

Houston Dash - "Cosmic Storm"

For the first time ever, purple takes center stage for Houston. The design captures the club’s new chapter—organizing chaotic energy into a cosmic storm, ready to light up the league. A tonal secondary mark and the "H-Town Hold It Down" pride mark anchor this bold look.

Kansas City Current - "Teal Town" Kit

KC goes full teal for the first time, with a map of Kansas City and the Missouri River featured across the jersey. The crest sits directly over the site of CPKC Stadium, the world’s first purpose-built stadium for a professional women’s team. Pride mark: Teal Rising.

Gotham FC - Grit & Ambition

Gotham’s secondary kit embraces matte and shine finishes, tonal crests, and subtle knit tape detailing for a premium feel. Rooted in New Jersey/New York pride, the design reflects the club’s resilience, ambition, and high standards. Pride mark: Gotham FC.

North Carolina Courage - "The Believe Kit"

This jersey is a battle cry for courage and unity. Featuring subtle rosettes inspired by lionesses, the design highlights strength, resilience, and the divine sisterhood of women lifting each other up. Pride mark: Esse Quam Videri (To be rather than to seem).

Orlando Pride - "The Decennial Kit"

Celebrating 10 years of Pride soccer, this jersey blends Orlando purple with Eola Blue, incorporating elements from the team’s best kits over the years. It also proudly displays the NWSL Championship gold star and a 10th season pride mark.

Portland Thorns FC - "Onward Rose City"

Portland’s new kit reflects the heart and soul of the city. Dark tones symbolize unity and strength, while glowing red accents capture the fire and passion of the team and its fans. Pride mark: Onward Rose City.

Racing Louisville FC - "The Roots Kit"

San Diego Wave FC - "Altamar" Kit

San Diego’s new look draws from the deep ocean blues and tidal teals of its Pacific backdrop, symbolizing the unstoppable energy beneath every wave. Pride mark: Make Waves.

Seattle Reign FC - "The Rise Kit"

Inspired by Seattle’s iconic skyline, this design features lines that symbolize ambition and reaching ever higher. Classic Reign colors get a gold twist to reflect optimism for the club’s future. Pride mark: Rise.

Utah Royals FC - "Great Salt Lake Kit"
