Chelsea's New Home Kits
Chelsea introduced their new 2019-20 home kits that pay homage to their iconic stadium. Stamford Bridge has been the home of the Blues since 1905 and the new kits drew their inspiration from the historic stadium. The club’s classic blue jersey is covered in an all-over graphic made up of imagery of the famous North Stand, the East and West Stands and the raucous Shed End to create an abstract pattern.
“We’ve created so many memories at The Bridge over the years, so it’s only fitting that we pay tribute to such an iconic stadium through the jersey,” - Forward Eden Hazard.
The V-neck shirts features a red and white CFC monogram on the back of the collar along with a lion with “Pride of London” found on the inside. The blue shorts are complemented by white socks that have Chelsea's traditional red and blue trim up the calf.
“The Bridge is hallowed turf for Chelsea players and fans alike. It’s such a key part of the club’s identity and we are delighted to present a kit that is essentially a tribute to one of England’s oldest and most important stadiums.” -Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director
