Man City 125th Anniversary Kit

In honor of Manchester City celebrating the start of their 125th anniversary season the team has revealed a special kit to commemorate the special occasion. The kit has been inspired by the Club’s history, with different design features being voted on by the Club’s fans. The City fans were invited to vote exclusively on the details, such as: which crest the kit would get and its positioning, as well as if it would be in full color or monochrome. The fans also voted on which Manchester symbol would feature on the back and the commemorative wording on the inside tape of the neck.

The jersey is mostly light blue with a white trim, as the crest features gold lettering designating the Club’s 125 years. The jersey will not feature any sponsorship logos to keep it a very classic design. The commemorative wording of 'Manchester City since 1894', featured above a copy of the Club’s founding document, signed by Joshua Parlby. A limited edition run of 1,894 individually numbered authentic jerseys will be produced to reflect the Club’s founding year.

The kit will be worn vs Liverpool in the Community Shield at Wembley, on Sunday 4 August.

New Kits for Tottenham

The 2019 Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur are ready for a new campaign, and will do so in new kits. For the 2019-20 season we will see Tottenham’s kit take a sophisticated approach on their traditional colors as a nod to their iconic identity.

The home kit will give the Spurs a white jersey with dark blue shorts and white socks. The jersey will feature the dark blue trim within the V-neck collar and sleeves. Some subtle details found on the jersey are the word “Spurs” found within the trim and the club motto, “To Dare Is To Do,” hidden inside the shirt. The shorts are finished off with white detailing, and the white socks feature a blue ring in the middle of the shin with the word “Spurs”.

“It’s a special time at the club right now. The team has been making great progress, and with the move to the new stadium it feels like we have real momentum behind us. The kit looks great, it has a classic feel to it; it’s 100 percent Spurs." -Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane

The Spurs away kit is a bold statement with the deep navy colorway featuring a vivid purple graphic. The design was formed from the jagged type lines reading “Spurs” on the front of the jersey. The combination of the blue and purple colors for the new away kit is a nod to the past kits made famous by Tottenham. The design of of the word Spurs on the kit only moves forward and upward within the shape, inspired by the midset of the club. The final touches come with the club’s motto in Latin, “Audere Est Facere,” within the jersey and the navy socks will have a purple ring.

“Tottenham Hotpsur is a club which has been on an upward trajectory for some time now. They are doing it in a determined, skillful and fearless manner — all the characteristics we associate with young Londoners. Given all of this positivity, we felt it was only right to deliver kits that are Tottenham, through and through." -Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director
