Penguins 'Stronger Than Hate' Patch
The Pittsburgh Penguins are wearing special “Stronger Than Hate” patches for their jerseys for their matchup Tuesday night. The patch is to show their support for the victims of the shooting at the Pittsburgh synagogue over the weekend. At the end of the game each player will sign their jersey and the jerseys will be made available for auction, with the proceeds going to benefit the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and a fund established by the City of Pittsburgh Department of Safety to benefit police officers wounded during the shooting.
