Texas Football had their annual ‘Championship Dinner’. During the dinner athletes that met their goals received special ‘Champions Club Swag’. This year the players got a backpack, a jacket and a shirt. Each had the special logo them for the players to wear proudly.

BYU and Nike have inked up a new 7-year contract to continue their all-sport footwear, apparel and equipment partnership through 2025-26. The new agreement between the two will more than double the annual value of the previous Nike agreement and will include annual cash compensation for BYU Athletics.

“We’ve had a relationship with BYU for nearly 40 years now. We don’t have a better relationship in the country, than the one we have with BYU. We are very proud of it. We love the relationship and the program.” - Phil Knight Nike Co-Founder.

BYU was one of the first universities in the country to join the Nike family back in the late-1970s. The partnership with BYU football dates back to a friendship between BYU football coach LaVell Edwards, Nike executive Bill Kellar and Nike co-founder Phil Knight.

adidas has teamed up with Disney to create a special capsule for the 20th Anniversary of the movie ‘The Waterboy’. The capsule will include Bobby Boucher Mud Dogs’ replica jersey, Coach Klein’s varsity jacket, an SCLSU hat and SCLSU water bottles. The jersey will feature Boucher across the back with the Bourbon Bowl Championship patch on the upper left chest. The capsule will be available to the public for a limited time on October 19th here.

adidas took the partnership one step farther and will present authentic Mud Dog uniforms to University Lab High School’s football team located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

“To complete the head-to-toe look from the movie, adidas partnered with Riddell to blend the past with the present by combining the state-of-the-art head protection in the new Riddell Speed and SpeedFlex helmets with the classic look of the Mud Dogs logo, premium decal striping and a high gloss finish.The best-in-state ULAB football team will go from Cubs to Dogs for a cultural crossover moment that will celebrate the movie’s milestone for their game against Mentorship Academy on October 19.” - adidas
