For the first of the knockout rounds Neymar and Nike debut a fresh colorway on the Mercurial Vapor 360 boots named "Meu Jogo" (My Game). The boots are a canary yellow with an underfoot graphic that leverages the 360 build in the boot. The "Meu Jogo" name is in reference to Neymar's commitment to playing his game on the pitch.

"I got here because of my football. If football brought me to where I am, if it made me conquer the things I did, then I don't need to change." - Neymar

MLS All-Star Jersey

MLS has released their 2018 All-Star Jersey for the game in Atlanta. The jersey is a bold restyle of the iconic design that can go from the pitch to the street. The jersey features a cream white base with blue and red chevron designs on the sleeves. Each jersey features an All-Star patch on the jock tag, the MLS theme "Club, Country, Community" on the back of the neck, and a triangular patch on the sleeve.

The four intersecting lines on the jock tag are shaped as a railroad crossing, a nod to the history of Atlanta's transportation structure.

Nigeria Kits

The Nigeria kits for the 2018 World Cup have quickly become the hottest soccer kit in the tournament. The zig-zag patterned kits broke pre-order records with an astonishing 3 million kits sold.

"When I first saw the new kit I was like, 'Wow, this is sick! I need one now!" Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi said when he saw the Super Eagles' new jerseys.

Nike looked to reflect the nation's energetic culture with the new designs, with the home shirt paying homage to Nigeria's 1994 shirt.

New Real Madrid Kits

The Champions League Champions, Real Madrid, have released their new kits for the 2018-19 season. adidas has introduced the new line that has been updated with bold and simple designs to keep the tradition of Real Madrid's famous white jersey with black trim that will replace last season's blue trim. We also will see the addition of buttons on the home kits collar, while the away kit has the V-neck design.

"When working with an iconic club like Real Madrid, our goal is always to take classics designs and infuse them with innovative elements that continue to push the future of football design. The new Real Madrid home and away jerseys are a great example, as they are influenced by iconic Madrid kits of the past, while introducing brand new features such as the new collar construction on the home kit and the Tech Onix accent on the away jersey that give each a fresh and modern feel." - Inigo Turner, design director of adidas

New Kits for New Zealand

New Zealand has released their new kits that embrace the Maori legend of New Zealand's endemic silver fern that represents strength, resistance, and power. "These traits relate to the unique underside of the tree’s fronds that reflect under moonlight, creating something akin to a natural nightlight. Thus, they have been celebrated for guiding travelers." Nike.

“People in New Zealand rally behind the silver fern,” says Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director. “While it has been the primary symbol for New Zealand football for some time, we decided to integrate the frond more completely into the national team collection for 2018.”

We see the ferns worked into the design of the kit on the sleeves where Nike was able to create an almost photo-like recreation of the leaf. The team will have two color options one a fully black kit and the other a fully white kit.
