Special 9/11 Uniform for Nebraska
The Nebraska football team will wear special uniforms on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 this season. The uniform pays homage to all the first responders and military members, thanking them for everything they do. The all white uniform features a subtle camouflage pattern throughout it with bold red numbers on the jersey. The shoulder stripes and pants stripes are a grey coloring to match the facemask on the white helmet. The team will have special cleats, gloves, arm sleeves, etc. to match the uniform. The final touch comes on the helmet with the old NU logo on each side replacing the typical Block N.
