The Kansas City Chiefs are turning back the clocks and going retro in celebration of the franchise’s 60th season and the NFL’s 100th season. The Chiefs are set to host the Ravens in their home opener of the season and for the game we will see the team play on a retro painted field.
The retro look has the team’s ground crew going with the throwback gold end zones. These were the colors that were often seen at Municipal Stadium, from 1963-1971. As well as the 60th-anniversary helmet will be at midfield, replacing the Arrowhead logo. This will be the first time we see the Chiefs using gold end zones at Arrowhead Stadium.
