Nebraska Road Version of "Blackshirts" Uniform
The Nebraska Huskers have revealed their new road version of the alternate “blackshirts” uniform. The Huskers will wear a white helmet that has a black N on either side, black facemask and center stripe. The white jerseys are the same design as the original “Blackshirts” worn last year but inverted colors to allow for them to be used on the road. The look will be finished off with black pants that feature a red Nebraska N on the hip.
“I’d like to see it be a tradition that if the defense has a great game and holds an opponent under so many points that they earn the right to wear ‘Blackshirts’ the next week. I think that would be another source of pride for our defense.” - Scott Frost HC
