The Miami Hurricanes baseball team will be the first to ever hit the diamond wearing a uniform made from repurposed and upcycled materials created by adidas and Parley. The jersey features 100% recycled polyester mesh to create the durable and breathable jersey material. Along with the eco-innovative construction, the Hurricanes’ trademark orange and dark green jerseys are highlighted with the “Miami” wordmark, as well as the players numbers will utilize a 100% recycled twill embroidered with a dark green thread. To finish off the look Miami will wear the new adidas x Parley adizero Afterburner 5.0 and Icon cleats. These are the first-ever high-performance baseball cleats made from upcycled plastic materials.
