Indiana Football will have special uniforms that honor the country’s veterans. The special ‘Salute To Service’ uniform features a gray camouflage pants and jerseys combo. The jersey will have the American flag on the right sleeve with nine “Battle” stars on the left sleeve. A special feature that will be displayed on each players helmets for the Hoosiers will be the names of crew members from the WWII battleship USS Indiana BB 58 located in the center stripe.
"We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to our veterans who have served our country in the past, and an equal debt to those who are doing to same all around the world today. We are proud to partner with adidas on this project and I know our fans will love how these uniforms look and what they represent."-IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Dolson
