The Arizona State Baseball team has released special Tequila Sunrise throwback threads. The Sun Devils are honoring the 1981 College World Series team that wore these when they took on Oklahoma State. Across the chest of the jersey is the retro Devils word mark with the sunrise style striping below it, running into the sleeves. White pants and maroon hat finish off the special look for ASU.
Formula One has revealed the design of the new car for the upcoming 2022 season. The new car has been designed to allow for closer racing and the potential for more overtakes throughout a race. The new design will make for a more competitive race come 2022.
Each team will now release their new car throughout the month of February.
The Nashville Predators have released their 2022 Stadium Series jersey and with the new look they are paying tribute to their fans. The front of the jersey features the Smashville word mark that was inspired by letterpress music posters which are part of Nashville's rich history. The NP Nashville guitar pick is found front and center of the jersey over the smashville mark. The sleeves will feature the oversized stadium numbers with a heavy navy and gold colorway found throughout the look. The player's name and number font will feature digits and characters of different widths and weights as seen when mismatched letterpress blocks are used in letterpress music posters. The finishing touch comes on the inside of the neck with a stylized sound wave pattern graphic paying tribute to the music city.
The Tampa Bay Lighting have revealed their 2022 Stadium Series jersey for their upcoming match vs the Nashville Predators. The look features the return diagonal BOLTS across the front of the white jersey. The left shoulder of the jersey will feature the Tampa Bay Lighting Hockey Club patch. While on the right shoulder the 2022 Stadium Series patch has been added. Finishing off the look are large player numbers on both sleeves, in the same blue color as the lettering found on the rest of the jersey.
The Utah Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams will each get a special uniform honoring the USS Salt Lake City, which was a heavy cruiser in World War II. We first saw this special look hit the gridiron when the Utah football team took the field in the special look and won the UNISWAG Uniform of the Week award.
The gray jersey features black and white letters and numbers with Utah across the front in the special CAMOUFLAGE PATTERN FROM THE WARSHIP. On the back of the jersey for both the Men’s and Women’s teams the words “USS SALT LAKE CITY” is found. To finish off the look the interlocking Utah U logo has been added.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have released the teams classic jersey that will be worn this year for their outdoors match vs the Buffalo Sabres. The retro look brings back the logo from the 1918-19 Toronto Arenas on the front of the jersey. The Bold white T draws the eye to the chest of the jersey with Arenas in a more subtle blue colorway that matches the jersey’s color. The bottom of the jersey features just a singular white stripe, with the sleeves of the jersey only featuring the player’s number. The finishing touch comes on the inside of the collar with ‘Honour. Pride. Courage’.
The Oklahoma Football team received player exclusive kicks as a perk of being part of the Jordan Brand. The players will get an Oklahoma Football edition of the Jordan 6 shoes. The Crimson color way is accented with white and black. The heel of the shoe will feature the Oklahoma logo on the back.
Vanderbilt Baseball will wear their special Salute to Service uniforms for each Sunday game during SEC play. This season the team will take the look a step further with special footwear. Vandy has partnered with Memories of Honor to help keep the memory alive of United States military members who have passed away. Each player and coach will wear cleats and/or shoes with the names of fallen service men and women inscribed on them.

We wanted to find an impactful way to continue to honor those who served, but also paid the ultimate price for our freedom. The votes for the UNISWAG Football Awards have been tallied and with over 166,000 votes casted for the five different categories of awards, the fans have spoken.
The 2021 UNISWAG Uniform of the Year Award goes to UCF for their special space uniforms. Utah takes the Helmet of the Year award for their hand painted USS Salt Lake City lids. The Military Appreciation Uniform of the Year awards has been captured by Navy for their Fly Navy uni. Virginia Tech took the voting for the Throwback Uniform of the Year Award. Finishing off the voting is Davidson for the FCS Uniform of the Year.

The team will have custom branded cleats that feature the Vanderbilt logos on them along with the Vandy Boys script wordmark.
