The Carolina Hurricanes introduce a blast from the past as they bring back the Whalers throwback sweaters. The green sweaters feature white and blue striping around the waist and on the sleeves. The iconic Whalers logo is seen dead center on the chest.
"We're proud of the history and traditions that we've built in 21 years in North Carolina. But we've never thrown away the records established during this franchise's 18 NHL seasons in Connecticut," said Hurricanes President and General Manager Don Waddell. "This is a chance to celebrate our team's heritage and the players and coaches who laid the groundwork for this franchise."
The NHL is getting ready for their annual All-Star game. This year’s game and festivities will be held in St. Louis and the jerseys draw inspiration from the city’s music scene. The 2020 All-Star jerseys will feature striping meant to mimic that of a musical staff across the front of the jersey and sleeves. To add another nod to St. Louis the stitching throughout the jersey will be silver thread, inspired by the iconic Gateway Arch. Within the neckline a tribute to the Blues is found with trumpets floating above the St. Louis Gateway Arch on the inner neckline. We will see the home team wearing the grey jerseys, while the away team will be in white.
The Nashville Predators will be playing in the 2020 Winter Classic game and have introduced their special jerseys for the occasion. The look is meant to create a nostalgic feeling with the retro script crest, felt block lettering and classic striping. We see a new logo for the Predators with a throwback vibe to it, in the form of a roaring saber-toothed tiger head. On the inside of the neck line will be the date of the Winter Classic game and a guitar fretboard, inspired by Nashville’s music scene.
The Predators will hit the ice on January 1, 2020 in their special Winter Classic threads.
The Dallas Stars have introduced their special uniform for the upcoming 2020 Winter Classic. The Victory Green jersey and retro feel celebrates the hockey history in Texas. The jersey features a new identity system with traditional felt along the crest's lettering and numbering and features vintage silver stitch details. On the left sleeve will be a patch in the shape of the state of Texas, to pay homage to the Stars’ home state. The crest has been inspired by the historic hockey uniforms from Texas with the wordmark STARS superimposed on the letter D. On the interior of the collar is a design inspired by the Texas State Flag.
We will see the Stars hit the ice against the Nashville Predators on January 1st 2020 in their special uniform.
The Sun Devil Hockey Team has released their new all gray uniform. The storm uniform features a gray helmet with the oversized pitchforks on either side in maroon and gold. While wee see the gray jersey having the ASU Pitchfork front and center with gold and maroon piping and stripes. A unique touch comes with the Captains C having the state of Arizona as its outline on the upper left chest.
The Boston Bruins have revealed their third alternate look for the season. The new alternate jersey pays homage to club’s heritage by honoring the team’s from the late 1940's to the early 1950s with the Varsity Block-B. The single gold and white stripes around the arms and piping match the Bruins current jersey. The Varsity B is the center piece with the sleeve and hem stripes being inspired by the Bruins unique numbered front jerseys from 1940-1948. We will see the Bruins wear the alternate look a total of eleven times this season.
The St. Blues organization received their Stanley Cup Championship Rings. The ring is made with 14-karat white and yellow gold celebrating the team’s journey and paying homage to the team, their fans and their city. Sixteen custom-cut blue sapphires are arranged on the ring’s top, forming the Blue Note logo and signify the number of postseason victories earned along their path to the Stanley Cup. Forty five pavé-set diamonds make up the Stanley Cup below the logo with thirty more diamonds surrounding the Cup. All seventy five diamonds are a representation of the seventy five goals scored by the St. Louis Blues during the 2019 postseason. To complete the top of the ring one hundred and fifteen diamonds are set to create a cascading waterfall effect.
The left side of the ring pays tribute to the connection between players and fans, with both being featured celebrating with the Cup, along with players names and numbers set in diamonds. The right side of the ring honors the city of St. Louis with music notes, the St. Louis Arch, and the scene taken from an overhead blimp during the city's championship parade celebration. A mix of seventy six diamonds and fifteen sapphires represent the massive crowd turnout that surrounded the stage, celebrating the historic victory.

The St. Louis Blues have introduced their 90’s throwback jersey, that will be worn for three home games this season. The 90’s throwback look comes complete with diagonal music staff, an alternate trumpet logo, and a splash of red. Some of the Blues biggest legends from 1995-1998 including Brett Hull and Wayne Gretzky.

The 90's throwback Jersey will be worn on Nov. 21 vs. Calgary, Feb. 27 vs. New York Islanders and March 31 vs. Detroit.
The Jets have introduced their Heritage Blue jersey in celebration of the 2019 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic. The team drew inspiration from the iconic jerseys first worn 40 years ago, paying homage to the team's past by wearing the jerseys from the World Hockey Association era. The Jets' Heritage Blue jersey feature elements from the championship era of the late 1970s and features a crossover V-neck color and vintage-inspired mesh striping. The crest has traditional chain stitching to give off the distinct authenticity for the throwback uniform. A pant logo highlights the historical Jets ID set, with an era-accurate name and number fonts.
We will see the Jets hit the ice in the these jersey for the Heritage Classic game, as well as on December 3rd, 2019 and February 11th, 2020.
Calgary Flames have introduced their retro white jerseys for the 2019 Heritage Classic. The retro jersey is a blend of the authenticity, history and beauty of hockey that forms the 2019-20 NHL Heritage Classic jersey. The jersey will feature a white base with red and yellow design elements to recreate the original look. The Calgary's flaming C crest sits dead center on the jersey's chest, with double-layered twill embroidery. For an authentic 1989 uniform look, block lettering numbering and typography were used. We will see the jerseys make their on-ice appearance on Saturday, Oct. 26 when the Flames take on the Winnipeg Jets.
