The Kansas Jayhawks baseball team has revealed a special throwback uniform that honors the historic Kansas City Monarchs. The retro unis are white base, with the jerseys featuring the Jayhawks wordmark arched across the front with red sleeves. The left sleeve of the jersey is highlighted by a blue heart with the KU logo inside. The hats feature an old school style with a large KU on the front. The special threads will be worn for the inaugural Buck O’Neil Classic.
The MLB and Nike have announced a new uniform series dubbed the “City Connect Series”. The Red Sox are the first team to release their special uniform that is inspired by Patriots’ Day holiday and the Boston Marathon. The yellow and powder blue color way features Boston across the chest in a stencil font, inspired by the finish of the marathon at Boylston Street. The left sleeve of the jersey features a patch that mimics a marathon bib with the number "617," the area code for Boston and Fenway Park. Each player will wear the iconic B hat but in the powder blue and yellow color scheme.

That was two years ago, and that point, they said they were going to do the City Connect program that if we're going to do this, we are all-in, and even though we are a traditional historic franchise, we want to do something completely different. We will see the Red Sox wear the uniforms on April 17 and 18 when they play the Chicago White Sox.
The 2021 Atlanta Braves have received their World Series Championship rings. The 2021 Ring is created in 14-karat yellow gold with 18.71-karat white gold accents with diamonds and genuine rubies that make this ring worthy of World Champions. The ring features a removable top, that upon opening lights up with micro-LED lights that illuminate a miniature Truist Park that's positioned inside the ring. The interior ballpark features the No. 44 on its outfield grass, in recognition of a tribute the actual ballpark had all season following the death of Hall of Famer Hank Aaron earlier in the year.

The Houston Astros have revealed their special City Connect uniform. The club pays tribute to Houston’s rich space travel history with the special Space City threads.
Across the chest of the jersey reads “Space City” in a unique space-inspired lettering. The sleeves of the jersey have a grid pattern that emulates the star charts that helped guide countless missions. The jersey will be paired with navy pants that take an unconventional approach with each players number on their right pant leg illustrates the organizations desire to blaze its own path. The navy hats features a new take on their traditional Star H logo drawing inspiration from the planetary tracks and rainbow gradient from the 60s and 70s logos with a 21st century twist. The rainbow socks finish off the look paying homage to the Astros iconic rainbow unis from the 70s.

The Astros will wear their new City Connect uniform for the first time on April 20 when they take on the Los Angeles Angels. After that first wear, they will be worn on Monday home games throughout the season.
The Atlanta Braves will celebrate their World Championship with special uniforms to start the 2022 season. The Braves will continue the tradition of adding gold throughout their uniform for the opening series at home. The uniform will feature gold trim that has been added to the outside of the hat logo along with a patch on the right side highlighting the Braves’ 2021 World Series Champions logo.
On the front of the jersey the lettering and tomahawk across the chest has the gold outline added and the World Series path added to the right sleeve. The left sleeve of the jersey features a Roman numeral 4 in gold above a single navy blue star, paying tribute to the four World Championships in the Braves franchise history.
The Washington Nationals are the latest MLB team to get a special ‘City Connect’ uniform. The new uniform highlights the cherry blossom trees that bloom every spring in Washington DC. The jersey is an anthracite base color with a subtle cherry blossom print throughout it. Across the chest of the jersey is the WSH graphic with a special design element that reflects the power and strength of the neoclassical architecture seen throughout DC, along with a full color cherry blossom branch. On the left sleeve we see the District of Columbia flag, with its three stars and two horizontal bars.
The cap features the block W on the crown with pink cherry blossom petals blowing away. On the right side we see a cherry blossom tree patch with petals blowing away in the wind.

We will get our first look at the ‘City Connect’ uniform during the Nationals Opening Day Weekend on April 9th and 10th.
The 2022 MLB Spring Training hats will feature the mesh back this season. While on the front of each team’s cap will be the team logo embroidered, with most of them featuring same color logo as cap. On the sides of each cap will be one of two different patches, featuring a cactus or a palm tree inside a blue baseball diamond. The two different side patches represent where each team’s Spring Training site will be, either Arizona or Florida.
The Arizona State Baseball team has released special Tequila Sunrise throwback threads. The Sun Devils are honoring the 1981 College World Series team that wore these when they took on Oklahoma State. Across the chest of the jersey is the retro Devils word mark with the sunrise style striping below it, running into the sleeves. White pants and maroon hat finish off the special look for ASU.
Vanderbilt Baseball will wear their special Salute to Service uniforms for each Sunday game during SEC play. This season the team will take the look a step further with special footwear. Vandy has partnered with Memories of Honor to help keep the memory alive of United States military members who have passed away. Each player and coach will wear cleats and/or shoes with the names of fallen service men and women inscribed on them.

Vanderbilt Baseball has released 2022 lineup of player exclusive footwear. The team will have custom branded cleats that feature the Vanderbilt logos on them along with the Vandy Boys script wordmark.
