The MLB will go with retro logos this year for their Stars & Stripes, 4th of July hats. The caps will come in either a blue or red crown and will have the alternating color as the bill’s color. The old school logos will get the Stars & Stripes treatment front and center. Check out each team’s hat design below.
The Reds hit the diamond in their 1936 throwback uniforms as part of their continued celebration of their 150th anniversary. The look was one of the most unique uniforms worn by the Reds, with the style being known as the "Palm Beach" named by the uniform's manufacturer, Cincinnati-based Goldsmith & Sons. This uniform was designed as an attempt to offer players a lighter weight alternative to the heavily flannel jerseys that was the traditional look at the time. The unique design featured an open-weave fabric construct to make the uniforms more breathable during the hot Cincinnati summers. The uniforms didn’t stop with new material they also incorporated red pants for the first and only time in the club’s history, and on the front of the jersey is the script Reds mark. The "Palm Beach" jersey was worn occasionally as an alternate uniform from 1936 -1938 but the uniform combination that included the red pants was only worn during the 1936 season.
The Baltimore Orioles broke out their “Maryland Pride” uniforms. The special uniform features the Maryland State flag pattern on the sleeves of the jersey as well as on the bill of the cap. The look will surely be a fan favorite for all Baltimore fans who love the Maryland state flag.
The Kansas City Royals will honor the former Negro League team, The Kansas City Monarchs, with these retro uniforms. The 1942 uni will be in the red and white colorway with Monarchs across the chest. The team will have vintage batting helmets that match the caps for the uniform to really take the vintage look up a notch. The Royals will hit the field in their Retro look Sunday, June 23rd vs Minnesota who will wear St. Paul Gophers uniforms from 1908.
The Kansas City Royals catcher, Martin Maldonado added a clip on tie to his catchers gear for Father’s Day. The light blue helmet and chest protector was crowned perfectly with the light blue clip on tie that featured names of special people in his lives.

Bryce Harper will honor his father on Father’s Day with these special cleats. The cleats are designed exclusively for Bryce, and represents the journey he and his father have taken from Bryce’s Little League days to standing together at the All-Star Game after Bryce’s Home Run Derby win. The special UA Harper 4 feature a bright orange, blue and yellow colorway in swirls to resemble those slushies the two drank together many years ago. We see “My pops sacrificed everything to help me fulfill my dream. I would give anything in this world to thank him every single day and tell him how much I love him.” written on the eyestay of the cleat, inspired from Bryce's 2015 MVP acceptance speech. To finish off the look Harper will have matching batting gloves and sleeve that he will wear on Father’s Day.
The 2019 Little League Baseball and Softball World Series Uniforms have been designed and created by adidas. The design behind each uniform was inspired by each unique region from across the globe, highlighting the story of unity, tradition, and the history behind the Little League patch. We see highlighted on the jersey’s sleeves a unique color bar that was inspired and designed based off of the flags from each regional identify. On the inside of the jersey’s neck, each region’s color bar has been fused together to create a unity band, as a final reminder of the league’s commitment to unity as players put on their jerseys and head out to the field.
The left sleeve of the jerseys will have the signature Little League Patch. adidas created an all-new original typography that highlights each region’s name and each player’s number. We see the final touch of an underline stretching below each regional name to visualize the game’s base paths.

We will get our first look at the uniforms in action at the start of the Senior League Baseball World Series in Easley, S.C., on July 27.
The headwear for the MLB All-Star game will have a throwback feel to it. The on-field caps will have retro piping on the sides and across the back, as well as having two stars on the front sitting on either side of the team’s logo. On the right side we will be the All-Star Game patch for Cleveland that is in the shape of a guitar. See all 30 team’s hats below.
The Reds continue to honor the franchise’s past great teams during their 150th anniversary celebration by wearing retro uniforms. The latest to hit the field for the reds is their 1919 Home World Series unis. The team won 96 games with only 44 losses for a winning percentage of .686, the best of any Reds team since 1900. The team also won the franchise's first National League pennant and World Series. To celebrate this team, the club ordered new uniforms for use in World Series play that featured a slightly altered C-Reds logo on the jersey fronts as well as a claw shape to the "C" that appeared on cap faces. We see today’s team rocking the same version as the 1919 team did.
The Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers wore throwback uniforms when they hit the baseball diamond against each other. Both teams wore their retro Negro League team’s uniforms, with the Pirates wearing a 1938 Pittsburgh Crawfords inspired uniform and the Brewers rocking the 1923 Milwaukee Bears uni.
The Pittsburgh Crawfords throwback uniforms featured Pittsburgh script across the chest with Crawfords in the tail. Throughout the look we see navy and red details and a red cap with a block C in white. The team wore their traditional batting helmets with the retro look.
The Milwaukee Bears retro look featured pinstripes with block lettered Milwaukee across the chest. The team’s hat followed suite with a white cap that showed a black block M, black pinstripes and a black bill. The Brewers took it a step farther with dug out gear, catcher’s gear and batting helmets to match the retro look.
