The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have a new alternate look in their uniform rotation. The third uniform option features an alternate brand with the return of the iconic H logo from the early 1900s. The steel grey color of the jersey and pants is a nod to the Hamilton industrial roots. A special hammer pattern is found on the collar of the jersey and the center stripe of the helmet. Across the chest of the jersey we see ‘The Hammer’ in place of Tiger-Cats. The Hammer H logo is displayed on both shoulders of the jersey. With the finishing touch coming on the inside of the collar with MADE IN HAMILTON stitched in gold, meant to signify the players always have Hamilton on their backs.
“Our franchise has a rich and storied history in the city and we’ve been proud to call Hamilton home for 153 years. The inspiration for “Made in the Hammer” is to celebrate the indelible link between Hamilton, the Tiger-Cats and the amazing fans of this team who call this city home and still consider this city home, even if they live abroad.”- Matt Afinec, President & COO of Hamilton Sports Group
The Tiger-Cats will take the field in the special look twice this coming season in July and October.
