San Diego State Men's Basketball has become the newest member of the Jordan family and will be outfitted in the iconic Jumpman logo for games, practice, and travel. The Aztecs are the eighth men's basketball team to be added to the Jordan lineup, joining Florida, Georgetown, Houston, Marquette, Michigan, North Carolina and Oklahoma. The San Diego State affiliation with Jordan ties in with former Aztec and current San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, who exclusively wears Jordan.
“It’s the exclusivity of it, just to be a little different than everybody else. To have something that other schools in the conference don’t have access to, it’s kind of ups our brand and can help recruiting.” said SDSU coach Brian Dutcher.
The uniforms won't change much as you see them here. The big difference coming with a Jumpman instead of a Check, but that is a big deal for recruits. The team will also receive more shoe options from the Jordan Brand that is always a win for the players.
